A single tree does not make a forest, therefore we have developed relationships with seasoned and skilled tradesmen, subcontractors with years of experience, both locally in Los Cabos and abroad.  

 

Qbilt is therefore able to deliver a full turn-key project for residential and light commercial projects, including architectural designs, engineering certificates, permitting, construction and final commissioning of the project.

We summarize our team's strengths as follows;

• Our structural subcontractors (cement work, tiling, plaster and even pools) are experienced on large homes in Pedregal, as well as major hotel projects in the region. Our supervising Structural Engineer Leonel reviews all phases of slab, cistern and pool construction. These inspections are supported by photographs and certificates included in the final project file. He also certifies for planning purposes the home designs requested and finalized by clients, in conjunction with North American Standards.

• Our Duratherm SIP Panel crew have been trained by Duratherm directly. This process includes the installation of wire conduits and boxes, as well as plumbing lines within the walls and ceilings. This process insures all walls are true and straight from the beginning, keeping plaster work to a minimum. Duratherm SIP panels are smooth and ready for sealing and painting within hours after installation.

• We purchase our cabinetry from American sources that offer an immense variety of styles while maintaining the highest quality. We import seasoned solid and hollow doors, as well as security screens and railings. We are also able to offer local custom cabinetry where requested.

• Our Electricans are CFE Certified and have worked in Los Cabos for years. Within the Todos Santos area we work with Integrity Electrical (Byron Kovacs) who is Australian trained and certified.

• As well, our Plumbers and Gasfitters are highly experienced, having worked on many million dollar homes within the El Encanto development, San Jose.

• Our refrigeration work is carried out by Javier and his team at Servitec AC, who installs and services Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Mitzubishi, Kaussmann, LG and now Chiltrix Chilled water systems.

• QBilt Management supervises all trades people from project conception to completion.. QBilt maintains photo recordsand deliverers "as-built" drawings as well as a project folder for the client's records.

• QBilt Office Staff is supported by Ann Perkins who manages the full accountability of project costing and billing.
